Un-Meaty Spaghetti

I was just craving it! The real stuff or at least as close as it gets at my house. So I whipped up some pasta and made a meat-like sauce using Burger Bits by Nutritional Designs. They are very easy to work with to say the least. I added some water to a pan and sprinkled the Burger Bits and put a lid on top. I let them simmer a while until they were reconstituted and then I seasoned them. Again, I let them simmer for a while and added some of my spaghetti sauce that I normally prepare using a salt free sauce base and voila! It was so good. There are tons of uses for these burger like bits-- homemade veggie chili, as an addition to soups, for sloppy moe's, in lasagna etc etc etc!
